Ablass, born on August 15, 1979, in Paris, France, is a psytrance music Producer
His journey into the world of psytrance began in the early 2000s, when he discovered the genre during rave parties. Influenced by iconic artists such as Hallucinogen, Total Eclipse, Astral Projection, Juno Reactor, Astrix, Talamasca, and Infected Mushroom, Ablass has developed a unique sound characterized by dark melodies and frenetic rhythms.
Ablass started creating his first tracks without the aid of a computer, utilizing samplers and sequencers connected to synthesizers like the MC303, MPC2000, Nordlead, Prophecy, and DPS12. His hands-on approach to music production laid the foundation for his distinctive style. It wasn’t until after the year 2000 that Ablass built his first computer and began incorporating programming into his music production process.
In addition to his expertise in electronic music, Ablass is also a versatile musician who plays the guitar, piano, and some drums. Over the years, he has composed around fifty psytrance tracks, demonstrating his prolific creativity and dedication to the genre.
In 2017, Ablass co-founded the label GoaPsyRecords with his two friends, Middle Roader and Mental Abstraction. This venture has allowed him to further explore his artistic vision and share his music with a wider audience. Ablass continues to produce music with a spirit of absolute freedom, constantly pushing the boundaries of psytrance and captivating listeners with his innovative soundscapes.
